1. To create a MOB, you'll have to sms ACCEPT yourCityName to 09223050606 to complete your registration and confirm that you accept our terms of service. The Terms of Service are available on this website.

 2. On sending ACCEPT, you'll receive an sms confirming that you are a registered user of MyToday. Now you are ready to create your own MOB as well as publish on other MOBs where you have permission.

 3. From here on you can create a MOB by sms or by logging on to http://pub.mytoday.com

 4. To create a MOB via SMS, sms CREATE to 09223050606. Here, we'll create a MOB with the MOB name (or keyword) as the mobile number from which you sent the SMS.

 5. If you want the MOB to be a name instead of a mobile number, then sms CREATE yourMOBName (or KEYWORD) to 09223050606. Where MOBNAME (or KEYWORD) has 5 or more characters. For example CREATE GOODFRIENDS to 09223050606.

A welcome is the first message that a subscriber to your MOB receives. To write your own welcome message:

 1. Click Manage MOBS

 2. Click Manage Keyword

 3. Click the MOB for which you want to write the Welcome message

 4. Enter the message in the Welcome text box

 5. Click Submit

A description is sent when someone wants to know more about your MOB. They will do this by sending an sms with the MOB Name or Keyword. Once they feel they understand what your MOB provides, they will sms a START Keyword to subscribe. To create a description:

 1. Click Manage MOBS

 2. Click Manage Keyword

 3. Click the MOB for which you want to write the Description message

 4. Enter the message in the Description text box

 5. Click Submit

You send sms to your friends asking them to subscribe to your MOB. To invite friends, you can use the invitation message we have and send it to your mobile number - and then forward it to your friends! To get the invitation message, do the following:

 1. Click Manage MOBS

 2. Click Invitation Messages

 3. Click the MOB for which you want to invite friends

 4. Modify the message if you wish

 5. Click Submit

This message will reach your mobile. Just forward it to as many friends as you want to invite!

You can publish a message by sms or using http://pub.mytoday.com.

To publish a message using your mobile phone sms PUB MOBName/KEYWORD yourMessage to 09223050606. For example, to publish to MOB GOODFRIENDS you'll sms PUB GOODFRIENDS How are all you doing!

To publish a message using http://pub.mytoday.com, do the following:

 1. Select Create Message

 2. Select the MOB to which you want to publish a message

 3. If your message will only be read through SMS, then leave the Title field blank. If it's going to be read by subscribers on MyToday.mobi, then you can give a title

 4. Select the "Message will be sent as sms" check box

 5. Enter your message in the Description text box

 6. If you want to change the date or time when the message should be sent then edit the Date and Time. If you dont edit the Date or Time, then the message will be sent out immediately

 7. Click Publish to send the message - if the Date or Time is not immediate - then the message will be sent out at the entered time. For example, if the date was 2 days from today - then clicking Publish will send the message only on that date. Similarly for the time. You can also save the message as a Draft or have a Preview of the message before you Publish

To publish in the future, you'll have to follow the same steps as publishing a message (earlier question) - except that you'll have to select the date and time you want the message to go. You can future publish as many messages as you want in advance - they will only get published at the time you selected.

Any MOB you create is open for anyone to subscribe. To ensure that only those you want can subscribe to your MOB, do the following:

 1. Select Manage MOBS at http://pub.mytoday.com

 2. Click the MOB that you want to control subscriptions to

 3. Select the "Only invited users can subscribe" option in the "Who can subscribe" question

 4. Click Submit

Now, every time someone subscribes to your MOB, they'll get a message that you need to approve their request.

To allow or deny subscription requests after you have made your MOB open only for "invited users", you'll do the following:

 1. Select Manage MOBS at http://pub.mytoday.com

 2. Select the MOB that you want to moderate subscription requests

 3. Select Moderate Subscriptions

 4. You'll see the list of mobile numbers which are awaiting your permission

 5. Click Deny if you don't want a particular number to subscribe to your MOB

 6. Click Allow if you want a number to subscribe to your MOB

You'll also receive the requests on your mobile number. To allow a number, sms ALLOW yourMOBName MobileNumberOfUser to 09223050606. To deny, sms DENY yourMOBName MobileNumberOfUser to 09223050606.

To stop others from publishing to your MOB, do the following:

 1. Select Manage MOBS

 2. Select the MOB which you want to restrict publishing rights to

 3. Select "Only users permitted by me can publish" option in the "Who can publish to your MOB" question

 4. Click Submit

To give publishing right to others, you'll do the following:

 1. Select Manage MOBS

 2. Select Manage Publishing Rights

 3. Select the MOB for which you want to give publishing rights

 4. Enter the mobile numbers to which you want to give publishing rights. If you want to enter many numbers, then just put a comma between two numbers to separate them

 5. Click Submit once you are through

If you are the owner of a keyword, you can easily revoke publishing rights from any user. You can do this in the following manner:

 1. Click Manage MOBS

 2. Click Manage Publishing Rights

 3. Select the MOB Name / Keyword to which you want to give publishing rights

 4. Click Revoke next to the mobile numbers for which you want to disable publishing rights

To transfer ownership of a MOB:

 1. Click Manage MOBS

 2. Click Manage Ownership

 3. Click the MOB Name / Keyword of which you want to transfer ownership

 4. Enter the mobile number of the person to whom you want to transfer ownership (the user should be a registered MyToday user)

 5. Click Submit

The user has to accept the request from you to complete the transfer.
